The share of Spanish consumers who were aware of the incentives for electric vehicle charging installation provided by the government's MOVES III plan increased only marginally between 2022 and 2023, up to ** percent. In 2023, the lack of accessible infrastructure to charge an EV battery was among the leading reasons discouraging Spanish consumers from considering an EV purchase.
