Quality of long-term care by family of users in Canada 2021, by LTC type
According to a survey from 2021, the overall quality of care provided at long term care (LTC) residences varied by the type (private/government) of facility, and more specifically with the size of the facilities. Respondents who had loved ones in small private LTC homes gave higher overall quality of care ratings, compared to those with loved ones in larger private LTC or governmental LTC residences.
