Tariffs are for primary care hospitals under the Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG). CHAG is a Network organization with health facilities and health training institutions that are owned by different Christian Church Denominations.
Costs exclude catering.
The source notes that the tariff does not include costs of drugs, direct, indirect and overhead costs of pharmacy and any other costs related to drugs/medicines. Included, however, are costs of equipment and consumables used to administer drugs (syringes, syringe pump, infusion burettes, needles, cannula, etc.) as these are consumables used directly in patient care.

As of 2023, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) profiling under primary care in CHAG facilities in Ghana amounted to Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly **** U.S. dollars. Moreover, the tariff for hepatitis C screening in CHAG hospitals amounted to GHS, around one U.S. dollar. These investigation costs have been set since October 2022, and are for the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of the liver disease.
