As of 2023, Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) profiling in private primary care facilities in Ghana amounted to Ghanaian cedis (GHS), roughly *** U.S. dollars. Moreover, the tariff for hepatitis C screening amounted to GHS, around one U.S. dollar. These investigation costs have been set since October 2022, and are for the diagnosis, monitoring, and management of the liver disease.
