In the first half of 2023, wireless telecommunication carriers in Indonesia was the sector severely attacked by DDoS, with maximum attack of gigabytes per second (Gbps). DDoS attack, also known as a Distributed Denial-of-Service attack, is a type of cybercrime where the attacker overwhelms a server with internet traffic in an effort to prevent people from accessing linked websites and online services.
