In January 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year, drug stores in Italy registered an increase of 11.1 percent in their consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales value, outdoing all other types of retail stores. E-commerce, on the other hand, registered a decrease in sales of around 0.1 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
