Assassin's Creed Shadows was published in March 2025 and claimed 2 million players after 2 days, outperforming both Origins and Odyssey in post-launch engagement but not Valhalla, which was released as a PS5 console launch title.
Ten years after its initial release, the open-world RPG Assassin's Creed Black Flag reported 34 million players. Assassin's Creed Valhalla had last reported about 20 million players post-release.
