Worldwide, 75 percent of women aged 15 to 49 have their family planning needs satisfied by modern methods. While some regions and countries still have moderately low levels of needs satisfied, access has increased tremendously since the 2000's, indicating the integration of family planning into national development plans and healthcare schemes. Access to modern family planning methods is impacted by factors such as supply chains, financing and health coverage, policy, the amount of qualified healthcare personnel, and more.
