China's bubble tea market continues to experience rapid growth, with Mixue Ice Cream & Tea leading the pack. As of October 2025, Mixue boasted an impressive * outlets across the country, solidifying its position as the largest new-style tea retailer by store count. By comparison, its closest follower GoodMe Milk Tea had only *stores.
While Mixue Ice Cream & Tea has a significant presence in various city tiers, it has placed a particular focus on lower-tier markets. As of June 2025, more than half of Mixue's shops were in third-tier cities and below, highlighting the brand's aggressive expansion strategy in these areas. In contrast, GoodMe Milk Tea had a different approach, with around 29Â percent of its outlets located in second-tier cities.
The bubble tea market in China shows significant regional variations.
