A 2023 survey conducted among young people in the United States found that nearly eight out of ten respondents talked about their mental health and emotions. Over half of those who spoke about their mental health did so with their friends, while around 37 percent discussed the issue with their parents or guardians. This statistic illustrates the percentage of U.S. youth who talked to select people about their mental health or emotions in the past year as of 2023.
