According to a survey conducted in Spain in May 2021, approximately ** percent of respondents considered the impossibility of performing a physical examination as the most significant disadvantage of using teleconsultation services. Moreover, around ** percent of interviewees reported feeling more comfortable consulting in person, while ** percent said technical problems were also a disadvantage of teleconsultation services. Based on that survey, the main reason referred to by patients that favored consulting with a doctor in person was the preference to talk with the physician face-to-face.
