A U.S. survey revealed that 62 percent of time spent listening to news and information occurred via AM/FM radio in 2022, down by almost 20 percent since 2014. However, listening to news via podcasts did not increase sufficiently to bridge the gap, growing by just two percent in the 12-year period.
