First wave of survey was conducted between April and June in 2021, and second wave was conducted between August and October in the same year. The survey covered ten e-scooter trial areas.
In 2021, according to the national evaluation of e-scooter trials in England, e-scooter rentals were more popular in the age group between 25 and 34 years than in any other age group. E-scooter rental users in this age group made up ** percent of all e-scooter users, which was ** percent more than the younger age group of 16 to 24 years, and ** percent more than the older age group of 35 to 44 years. As of October 2022, e-scooter sharing trials were being carried out in England in ** locations in the country.
