The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) was signed in 2021. It aims to make major investments in U.S. broadband, transportation, and energy infrastructure. The legislation designates around 25 billion U.S. dollars to Airports and Federal Aviation Administration facilities. Within this funding area, around 15 billion U.S. dollars are allocated to Airport Infrastructure Grants. An additional 5 billion is allocated for facilities and equipment.
