As of September 2024, the Weesow-Willmersdorf Solar PV Park, located in the Brandenburg region, was the largest solar photovoltaic power plant in Germany. This solar farm had a capacity of 187 megawatts and was followed by the Mainova Boitzenburger Land Solar PV Park, also located in the Brandenburg region.
