According to a 2022 survey, the main factor when purchasing ICT devices in Belgium was the price, as highlighted by 73 percent of respondents. Another key characteristic considered when buying an ICT device was the hard disk properties, such as memory and speed, or the processor speed. More than 20 percent of respondents reported considering the look of the device when deciding whether to buy it. Overall just under 10 percent of respondents take into account the environmental friendliness of the device in their purchase decision.
