Telekom VOLT Festival also figures among the leading multi-genre festivals in Eastern Europe, yet it was canceled in 2023 due to budget cuts caused by the uncertain economic situation. The state of the Hungarian music events industry

  Following the fallback triggered by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Hungarian music and concert industry still has not recovered to its pre-pandemic state. In 2023,  concerts took place, compared to organized in 2020. Moreover, approximately *** million concert visits were recorded in the country in 2023, which was lower than the figure registered in 2019.
