While the number of reported sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Finland remained stable in the past, there has been a noticeable increase in cases starting from 2021. In 2024, over 14,100 Chlamydia cases were reported, followed by 1,839 Gonorrhea cases, 312 Syphilis, and 240 HIV cases. Along with that, the number of acute Hepatitis B cases amounted to 129 infections.
