A 2022 survey found that physical newspaper purchasing behavior among U.S. adults varied very little according to gender, with 23 percent of men and 22 percent of women saying they currently bought print newspapers. Women were slightly more likely to say they used to buy physical papers but no longer did so, or indeed had never done so, but only by a very small margin.
