Banks offering sustainability linked loans in India 2022
In a survey conducted in January 2022 across 34 major scheduled commercial banks in India, it was found that ** percent of the banks offered sustainability-linked loans, and ** percent intended to do so within the next 12 months. The interest rates in SLLs are linked to a company's sustainability benchmarks in order to incentivize sustainability-related performance objectives.
