In a September 2022 survey, around three in ten manufacturing companies in the United Kingdom (UK) stated that their most driving technology improving their cyber security was the industrial internet of things. A further 21 percent said implementing artificial intelligence was a leading technology in their cyber resilience strategy. However, over half of the companies said they had not adopted new digital technologies as part of their cyber security plan.
