In 2023, health insurance companies in Czechia recorded the highest per capita healthcare expenditure for individuals aged 80 and above. The average spending reached *Â Czech koruna per capita for males and *Â Czech koruna for females. Gender-based differences were observed when healthcare costs for men were higher up to the age of nine and again from 50 years onward, while those for women exceeded men's in all other age groups.
