According to a 2023 survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK), 55 percent of respondents thought that the UK Government should ban staff from using TikTok on work phones and government devices. In comparison, one in five UK adults felt that there was no need to ban the popular social video platform, while 26 percent said they did not know.
