During a study of global viewer behavior on free ad-supported TV services conducted in the second quarter of 2023, it was found that the leading content genre watched on FAST channels was news, at around ** percent share of total viewing hours. The second genre most watched were movies, however the share of viewing hours for this content was far lower, at ** percent.
