As of December 2022, 41 percent of young adults and teenagers who had reported watching pornographic content online had accessed such content via Twitter. Around 37 percent reported accessing pornography on dedicated pornographic websites, while 33 percent did so on Instagram. Communication platforms Snapchat and WhatsApp were indicated by 32 percent and 20 percent of respondents, respectively - a sign that they were willingly shared or shown the content with by purpose.
