According to a 2022 survey conducted among European users aged between 16 and 19 years, 44 percent of respondents had watched pornographic material online, and 34 percent had engaged in digital piracy. Overall, 27 percent of respondents had taken part in online trolling, and around one in five had incited violence. Online tracking, sexting, and posting hate speech were other risky activities that young people across Europe had engaged during the examined period.
