According to a 2021 survey, nearly twice as many young voters would prefer if elected officials prioritized compromise over their own policy preferences, with ** percent reporting this to be the case. There is only a small difference between Republicans and Democrats when given the choice between compromise and confrontation, with both parties significantly favoring compromise.
