Note: In 2016, the Indian government decided to demonetize the 500 and 1000 Indian rupee bills and declared them as defunct. These two currency denominations were replaced with the newly introduced 2000 and 500 Indian rupee bills.
The Lok Sabha elections were scheduled between April to May 2019 and recorded about130 million first-time voters.
