Democratic candidate Cindy Axne was the top fundraiser in the run up to the congressional primary elections in Iowa’s third district, raising nearly four million U.S. dollars. Republican candidate Zach Nunn was the second highest fundraiser, raising nearly 900,000 U.S. dollars. Both Anxe and Nunn won their respective primaries and will face each other in the November general election.
