In U.S. congressional election races, Democratic candidates drew their strongest support from Black voters. Â A survey from July 13, 2026, found that ** percent would vote for a Democrat if the election were held that day. Republican candidates, by contrast, polled highest among white voters, with **Â percent saying they would vote Republican.
