Nearly half a year after Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, seven out of ten Ukrainians believed their country should continue fighting rather than negotiate to end the war as soon as possible. However, the responses differ significantly across regions of the country, ranging from more than 80 percent in the city of Kyiv to less than 60 percent in eastern Ukraine.
