The survey group comprised of 500 investment providers in the top investment markets around the world. The survey covered 15 countries from three different regions: The survey group covered a range of sectors, from investment advisory firms and retail asset managers to private banks and family offices. Half of the respondents were C-level executives, while the rest were at the managing director or senior vice president levels.

Importance of ESG to firms and investors worldwide 2021, by country
Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment is going to continue being important in the future, according to more than half of investment providers surveyed in Hong Kong in 2021. In the Benelux region, on the other hand, about ***percent of respondents shared this opinion. Meanwhile, the clients' expectations were a strong factor, driving the importance of ESG: in the UK, ** percent of survey participants noted that clients expect ESG knowledge and ** percent - that clients care about stance.
