In a potential referendum on Northern Ireland reunifying with the Republic of Ireland, approximately 36 percent of people in Northern Ireland supported reunification in 2024, up from 25 percent in 2019. By contrast, 45Â percent of people thought Northern Ireland should not reunify with the Republic of Ireland, down from 51 percent in 2019.
