In 2020, based on a survey conducted in Germany, more than two thirds of respondents sold used items online to reduce waste and act sustainably. Additionally, ** percent of respondents were motivated by the idea that products that they were no longer using could still be of use and bring joy to others. The added benefit of making money from selling used items was the least important reason for respondents, according to this survey.
