Perception of public insecurity as intimidation of journalists in Mexico 2012-2021
During a survey carried out in Mexico at the end of August 2021, more than three out of four respondents said the lack of public security was hindering journalists from reporting on criminality in the North American country. The share had stood at ** percent in mid-2012. Mexico is the Latin American country where most journalists were killed in 2021.
