Additionally, to be included in the survey, collectors were required to have spent at least 10,000 U.S. dollars on fine or decorative art in both 2020 and 2021.
The source specified that the surveyed high net worth collectors were from the following markets: the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, Singapore, and Brazil.

A December 2021 study identified the share of high net worth (HNW) collectors worldwide who spent over * U.S. dollars on non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Overall, *** percent of surveyed Gen Z and Millennial collectors reported having purchased digital art NFTs for more than * U.S. dollars in 2021. In contrast, only *** percent of interviewed Boomer collectors claimed the same that year.
