The number of addresses that actively sent or received Terra coins declined in **, nearly reaching ** for that month. In the following months, this number more closely resembled the monthly figures from before the decline in October. The popularity of Terra and its cryptocurrencies LUNA and UST (TerraUSD) comes from its role in crypto lending and the interest rates promised by lending platform Anchor Protocol, a platform built off the Terra network.
