An online survey carried out in 2021 showed that **** percent of workers whose salary did not cover their basic needs had gone to work in the previous four weeks despite having COVID-19 symptoms. This share was double than among those whose salary did cover basic needs. Regarding age groups, the highest share of workers who went to work with symptoms were between 16 and 34 years old.
