During a survey in the United Kingdom (UK) in December 2021, respondents were asked whether they thought diplomats from the UK, such as politicians, royalty or ambassadors, should boycott the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. While 40 percent of British respondents said they were not sure, 23 percent stated that diplomats should definitely boycott the Games.
