As of August 2021, 30 percent of online adults in the United States stated that they had been getting some of their information on the COVID-19 vaccines on social media platforms, whilst 31 percent said that they had not gotten any information via this channel at all. Additionally, 18 percent of adults reported that they got a lot of their information about the vaccines from social media services.
