Relative daily time spent with traditional TV versus streaming services among U.S. adults was determined for the period of the third quarter of 2018 to the third quarter of 2022. Although streaming services were shown to be gaining use steadily every quarter, projections still placed TV as dominant over streaming services among American adults' daily viewership by the third quarter of 2022, with streaming services occupying ** percent of daily consumption while traditional TV is projected to hold ** percent. This was a steady climb from quarter of 2018, in which streaming held ** percent of the total video viewing time.
