In April 2021, almost *** of U.S. consumers already owning an hybrid or electric vehicle were very or somewhat likely to consider the purchase of an electric vehicle. By contrast, close to half the respondents not owning an hybrid or electric vehicle reported being not too likely or not at all likely to consider electric vehicles for their next car purchase. That same year, over half of the U.S. states had an accessible or partially accessible electric vehicle market.
