Government spending on education in Ghana reached approximately 2.6 billion U.S. dollars in 2018. This increased from around 2.1 billion U.S. dollars in the previous year. The highest expenditure observed since 2010 was achieved in 2012, when the government spent close to 3.3 billion U.S. dollars on education.
