In 2020, receipts from the oil and gas sector in Ghana corresponded to one percent of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The receipts collected by the government in the oil industry reached 3.75 billion Ghanaian cedis, roughly 649.6 million U.S. dollars. In comparison with the previous year, the share decreased by 0.4 percentage points.
