In the first nine months into 2022, Sabeco, a subsidy of ThaiBev, earned revenue of trillion Vietnamese dong. The revenue of Sabeco had been increasing year on year until dropping significantly in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2020, Sabeco also lost its market leader position in Vietnam to the Dutch beer brewer Heineken.
