In its first year alone, after launching in September 2020, it reached a revenue of two billion U.S. dollars. The game with the second highest revenue reached within its opening year, following its launch in June 2017, was Lineage M, with 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. Pokémon Go, with a revenue of 1.1 billion U.S. dollars, was the third highest earner in its first year, after having launched in July 2016 .
