According to a survey conducted in Nigeria in 2020, the majority of citizens held a negative opinion on the economic situation of the country. About 65 percent of respondents from urban areas and 52 percent of respondents from rural areas affirmed that the current economic condition of Nigeria was either very bad or fairly bad.
