Oslo, closely followed by Akershus, was the largest electoral district in Norway in 20213 by number of registered eligible voters. The two regions have approximately 575,000 and 560,000 eligible voters, respectively. The northernmost county Finnmark is the smallest electoral districts, with short of 60,000 registered voters. The total number of registered voters in Norway has increased since the parliamentary elections in 2017 in line with the increasing population.
