According to a survey conducted in Japan in December 2020, more than ** percent of the respondents aged 70 years and older stated that they feel uneasy about society changing in such a way that people would be subject to surveillance and selection due to the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI). The share of people who were worried in this regard was lowest in the case of those aged 20 to 29 years old.
