The data is based on surveys as well as user penetration estimates of the major social platforms. It also take references from national and international statistical offices, company filings, traffic and press analysis.
In 2020, around **** percent of the population in Taiwan had used social media. The social media penetration rate is projected to reach over ** percent by 2026.
